MoC Face-up (Event Dolls - All Sizes)

Face-up service by Mint on Card for in-stock or pre-ordered blank Event Dolls, any size.

Our face-up artist's schedule is currently full, so we are not accepting any face-up pre-orders at this time. Once her schedule has opened up pre-ordering will resume. If you are pre-ordering a doll & want to also order a MoC face-up for it, please email us. We might be able to accept your face-up pre-order if the doll you are pre-ordering will take 3 or more months to receive.

If you are ordering or earning a blank doll and would like a MoC face-up applied to it, you should add the Face-up Service into your shopping cart along with the doll you are buying or earning. This face-up service is not available to dolls that are already in your possession, and is not available for dolls that already have a face-up, (we will not wipe off the face-up of a doll that is already painted).

Explanation of Event Doll Face-ups:

All Event Doll Face-up work will be custom, however the prices that we have listed are based on the make-up & blushing displayed by the event doll manufacturer. This means that you may choose the colors of the blushing and line work. You may also request features like fantasy elements, freckles, and scars however these added features might increase the price of the make-up. Please Note: Extensive work will entail a higher cost to be determined by the artist. It is highly recommended you send photo references. Photos can be sent to Info@mintoncardinc.com. Please include your order # in the email. If it is determined that your custom face-up will have an increased cost, we will not charge the increased amount until you have approved the charge.

Additional Options:

-Pearl Powder: Add sparkle to the lips or eyeshadow at no extra charge. Please specify the desired placement.

-Eyelash Attachment: If you would like to add upper eyelashes, please purchase a pair from our in-stock eyelash selection. Your eyelashes will be added free of charge. This option is only available for 70cm, 1/3, and 1/4 dolls & heads.

-No Body Blushing: Most of the event doll make-up pricing includes body blushing. If you only want your event dolls head to be painted please note it in the Comments Box at check-out. We will email you letting you know how much it will be to only paint the head. *If you are having an event Head painted, but also ordered a body for it, please be aware that the body will not be blushed. If you want blushing for the body please let us know, we will adjust the price for the make-up service based on the size of your doll & what you want done.*

Additional Information (Please Read!):

-Ordering a face-up will add an additional wait time of 1 to 4 weeks to your order. This time will fluctuate based on how many orders are before yours. Dolls & heads will be painted in order of their arrival. You are welcome to email us to get a time estimate, (info@mintoncardinc.com).

-Face-ups will be done in the artist's style. You may send photos of color or shape references, but exact copying will not be done. All work is hand painted and subject to variation. Please request photos should this be a concern.

-Photos of blushing and linework are available free upon request. Work will progress upon your approval of the photos, (if a week passes without approval, the work will continue as to not add further delay).

-If you would like to make a change during the progress of your face-up an additional $5 will be charged.

-When ordering a face-up it will include:

One (1) Face-up
One (1) Face-up Protector (Plastic Face Cover - For Human Heads only)

-The materials that will be used are as follows:

Mr. Super Clear Matt Sealant*
Sennelier Artist Pastels
Acrylic Paints
Watercolor Pencils
Acrylic Gloss Varnish
Pearl Powder (Optional)

*Please be aware that the sealant used could possibly leave a faint white residue that is visible on darker resin dolls, (example; tan, gray, or colorful resins such as green or blue). Sealant residue is not considered a flaw and should be expected when having a darker colored resin doll painted.

When Ordering:

-Please order the face-up along with, (at the same time as), the blank doll you want the face-up applied to.

-Please note in the Comments Box at check-out the details of your face-up, (colors, eyebrow shape, pearl powder, etc). Also let us know at that time if you will be emailing us example pictures.

Additional face-up pictures will be added to this listing with time, so check back to see more of the artists work! Some customers might also post their dolls face-ups on our website Owners' Gallery page, (it can be found under the 'Store Info' section). By commissioning MoC to paint your doll, there is the chance we will share photos of the work in our gallery. If you do not wish to have photos of your doll shared, please let us know during the painting process.
